TGIF #2 – Chikmaglur

I went to Chikmaglur (also called Chikmagalur, Chikkamagaluru, Chickmagalur) a year back – Christmas week of 2007. In Kannada, the name means ‘town of the younger daughter‘. The place lies in Baba Budan Hills in Karnataka. The trip entailed overnight travel, backpacking, trekking, campfire (at rooftop of a hotel!), sleeping in a tent etc. Here’s a pic from that trip.
